Single Origin In the northeastern region of Nicaragua, members of Unión de Cooperativas Agropecuarias de San Juan del Río Coco, or UCA San Juan, grow high quality organic coffee on small farms. Farmers cultivate coffee the way it’s been farmed for centuries, in an environmentally responsible way. Founded in 1993, UCA San Juan is a union of eight cooperatives that provides services to a total of 420 coffee farmers.
