I’ve tried several different coffee makers that brew by the pot. This one is by far the best. What sets it apart from others I’ve tried is it has a switch you can turn on that gets the water extra hot for small pots of coffee (1 to 4 cups). This makes a huge difference. I’ve owned two Bunns for example. Would never own another one. They are not even good anymore for large pots of coffee and for small pots you can definitely forget it. You have to use almost twice the coffee to end up with something that halfway tastes like coffee in a Bunn. Not so with this Cuisinart. It’s a great feature. Yes, the pot is a bit flimsy as other reviewers have commented and the lid can be a little tricky getting on but the coffee you get more than makes up for those two minor issues. Would highly recommend.
