Edit 20221209 - 2 extra months later and this unit has died. The internal motors or gears have failed and the turning power of the gears is so weak it cannot dislodge the ice. The plastic gears on the outside are still in tact, but the internals just wont turn them anymore. 4 months of solid performance might have been worth the lower price, but would prefer paying double for something that would last a year or more.--This was a direct replacement for my dying ice maker. Although it is adjustable, the settings from factory were already perfect. Makes ice perfectly and has been running well for two months and counting.
