I used this Supco RIM943 replacement ice maker to replace the model # S 106 626662 ice maker that was in my 8 1/2 year old Roper (By Whirlpool Corporation) side by side refrigerator. It was an exact fit except for a few minor modifications: 1) I used the "full bin stop" wire from the old ice maker because the new wire was not long enough. This swap is very easy to do. 2) I cut out the marked and scored tab in the back of the water fill bin for proper fitment (to look like the old ice maker). Again this was very easy to do. 3) I moved the clip that holds part of the wiring harness to the bottom of the ice maker from the forward position to the rear position (like it was on the old ice maker). I had to use a pair of pliers to accomplish this task but it was relatively easy to accomplish. 4) I had to use the wiring harness from the old ice maker because it was hard wired into the back of the freezer (no connector to unplug) but easily unplugged out of the old ice maker and easily plugged and snapped into the new ice maker. 5) I used the old ice maker front cover because the new front cover had a small crack in it. The size of the old cover was identical to the new cover and a perfect fit to the new ice maker. I liked the way the old front cover looked anyway.The Supco RIM943 made its first batch of ice in about 90 minutes after installation. The old ice maker never made ice that quickly even when it was new! I am hoping that Supco makes a replacement ice maker for the one on my 2003 Rinker 342 Fiesta Vee Cabin Cruiser as it is now over 10 years old and starting to act up.Update: I have now been using my ice maker for 24 days and it has performed flawlessly. It makes more ice than I can use so my ice bin is usually full. Do not hesitate to purchase this product.
